SHOUT is a free, confidential text service in the UK which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Just text the word SHOUT to 85258, you will then receive 4 automated texts back and then you'll be connected with a SHOUT volunteer who listen to you. The volunteer will support you with your difficulties and may also offer advice on different support options that could help you longer term.  

Papyrus is a UK charity supporting people struggling with thoughts of suicide. They also help promote positive wellbeing and mental health for young people across the UK. 

The HOPELINE247 is their free dedicated telephone line which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You call call HOPELINE247 on 0800 068 4141, you can text 88247 or email pat@papyrus-uk.org.

Samaritans is a free, confidential service which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week helping people to talk through their worries and difficulties. You can call Samaritans on 116 123,  email jo@samaritans.org or contact them via letter.

Calm Harm is a free app which supports young people who are struggling with self harm.  The app can be downloaded on to Apple and Android devices.
The app is used to help manage the urge to self harm through different  supportive activities and techniques.

Young Minds are a mental health charity that support young people with however they're feeling. The website has lots of different resources that can help you understand and manage your thoughts and feelings, and different information about topics such as medications and mental health conditions.

Mind is a mental health charity supporting people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health or wellbeing. The website has lots of different resources to support you to manage your mental health , provides details of other support services available and information on your rights.
